The weather today started dry and allowed the builders to put the first coat of felt on the dormer roof and insulation inside was being fitted.
Unfortunately the weather turned wet but they still managed to get the second coat of felt down and made the roof completely watertight:


The wall insulation was installed - 4" thick slab cut to size and fitted between the studding:



The roof had solid slab insulation fitted between the rafters and then covered with a "space-age" blanket insulation. Battens were then fixed over the blanket ready for the ceiling plasterboard to be fitted.
