Back on the roof again this morning to re-lath the land-side in readiness for re-slating next week.

Temporary waterproof sheeting fitted over dormer windows. New windows should be arriving next week.

We arranged for a new aerial and Sky dish to be fitted while the scaffolding is up and the riggers came this morning. (We have to keep the boys happy somehow now they've finished their tin of biscuits! They're trying to locate a spare Sky box this weekend.)

The side wall of the en-suite was studded and plasterboarded today, insulation put into the small vertical wall and a gap left for access into the small roof void to allow for storage. Looks like we'll need one of Santa's elves to get the Christmas tree out of there!

This picture shows the other end of the dormer where the end wall has now been studded and boarded, and also polythene has been fixed over the slabs of insulation.

Wow, things are really coming on apace! Great to see it all, thanks for your blog!

(I'm ukmaggie45 on MSE forums and have been following your progress)

PS word verification is ventl, which seems to be somewhat apt

Thanks Maggie. It's getting quite exciting now, seeing it all taking shape upstairs.
