The french doors/windows were installed in the lounge today and the walls underneath were bricked up. They look really nice and let a lot more light into the room.

The electrician came today and removed a lot of the old surplus wiring and did some prep in readiness for the rewire next week. This needed doing before the ceilings and walls were finished so there will be no damage to any new plaster.

Some more studding in the utility room was done today. A step in wall in the corner of the utility room was blocked up to make it a more useable flat wall:

This corner of the room has been pushed out into the hall to square off the room and the small amount of space stolen from the hall wont be missed and will be of much better use in the utility:

Some studding was also done in the lounge on the wall where the original old fireplace and flue had been.
