Kango hammer gave up just at the end of the job, he had to go through a 2' stone wall as far as he could then start on the outside and hope the two holes married up! Fortunately they did and the kango hammer lasted just about long enough - phew! Steve is coming back tomorrow to do as much as he can in readiness for the builders on Monday.

Not much for us to do today. Our son Neil came to create the hole in the utility wall for the flue for the new boiler. The lower hole is now redundant and will be filled in, it used to be for the cooker hood when the previous owners had a lodger who used the utility as a kitchen.
