None of this could have been achieved without our lovely builders:

Tuesday, 20 January 2009 - Part 1

Well, it's all go around here. It's 1pm and look what they've done this morning. Photo taken from back garden showing the timbers for the new dormer:

The first and largest steel which went in last week. There are 4 or 5 sections bolted together spanning the full width of the building.

View taken from scaffold into the new dormer through what will be the side wall. The en-suite will be along the far wall.

Photo taken from stairs into the loft and showing the dormer.

View from inside the new dormer looking towards the corner of the room. Mike is standing inside where the en-suite will be.

This is the view through the main window in the centre of the dormer looking out to sea beyond the yacht compound.

Dormer roof with first roofing board in place.

This photo shows the steel in the roof (with wood inserted), which spans the full width and supports the roof of the dormer and the rear roof elevation.

Don'tcha wish your builders were hot like ours, don'tcha, don'tcha! (With apologies to The Pussycat Dolls but I couldn't resist.)
